The apartment is lovely and Charlotte was really welcoming. Some people had mentioned street noise as an issue but we had no problems with it.The area itself is great - good restaurants around the station and in the neighbouring streets, great coffee over the road! We will be going back.
The district we stayed was an excellent place. The distance from the apartment to the train station was really short, and you walked through the streets full of nice cafes and chinese restaurants. Charlottenburg was a perfect place to rest after visiting loud districts like Mitte. Accomodation was ...really good, stylish and comfortable. If you like flats full of art -this one is for YOU ! The only thing we didn't predict was that in Germany everyone drinks coffee for breakfast, so they didn'y have anything in which we could prepare tea, but that wasn't a problem. Nearby there are many places to buy tea and delicious croissants. We really liked this place and the contact person was just great !!!
Our contact person was wonderfully helpful, staying late to re-check the apartment (we had no phone in Berlin to contact her)when we arrived later than we planned. The location in a small neighborhood near Savigny Square was perfect for grocery and bakery shopping and feeling a brief part of the ...location community while being quite near transit. Gorgeous artworks in every room make us feel like we were living in an art gallery. And we enjoyed using the convenient kitchen, washing machine and the very comfortable bed.
Very nice flat in a nice neighborhood full of cafés and restaurants. A bit far from all the classic sightseeing but very close to metro and a nice bicycle ride across the park to reach the heart of the city. Was very helpful and serious. I would say that maybe a wardrobe is missing to place the ...clothes for a long stay. Also the flat is located on the ground floor and we could hear the street noise which was ok for us but might be annoying if you are used to very quiet nights. Globally we enjoyed very much being in a three stars flat full of art pieces.

Everything was as I expected except the biggest let down was that there really is no wifi which was a major factor for me when I chose the apartment for so this was a huge issue. The owner has gone with a gimmicky T-mobile hotspot option but the hotspot near the apartment is not strong enough so ...even when we eventually/randomly could connect to it, it couldn't even open a basic website. When wifi is advertised you expect a strong wifi connection that you can get on any device with ease. The owner did try and rectify by providing a laptop with an internet stick to use but a wifi modem needs to be installed in the apartment like everywhere else otherwise wifi should not be advertised. The apartment was very nice and very clean and owners helpful. Good location for me and very close to a train station so you can get around berlin easily.
We confirm that during the stay the owner had taken offered resolutions regarding the problem with Internet connection. The owner confirms that the WIFI has been reviewed by a technician and now works properly, they also reiterate their availability for any assistance required during your stay.
Fire away and we'll get back to you soon!
