The nearest metro station (U-Bahn) Naturkundemuseum, on line U6, is just a short stroll from the apartment and offers great transport connections to the rest of the city. Two stops further along is Friedrichstrasse, which has numerous transport connections by metro and the city train (S-Bahn). A visit to the historical Tränenpalast (Palace of Tears), the enormous park Tiergarten and the Regierungsviertel (governmental district), as well as the historical Checkpoint Charlie and impressive Brandenburg Gate should not be missed.
