Nice apartment in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg

This apartment is very near the famous Kollwitz Platz and to the Wasserturm. It is a bit further up from Alexander Platz, which is located in the south (and the most central part) of Prenzlauer Berg district. The road is located between Schonhauser Allee and Prenzlauer Allee. The nearest metro station is Senefelder Platz, on Line U2 (red line), and when you come out all you need to do is go down the Metzer Strasse for 50 metres and turn on the first street on the right. Prenzlauer Berg is one of the most fascinating districts in Berlin. It is very smart and very young in it style, with several cafés and a lot of olde-worlde houses. In Knaackstrasse there are two Russian restaurants, a French one, a Swiss bakery and a lot of other restaurants (Spanish and Portuguese for example) which are listed in the guide. The Kulturbrauerei is very nearby. Around the corner there are supermarkets, discount stores, shops, a new health shop, lots of cafés and other places.

The apartment has been recently been done up, is on the second floor and is very bright. It is made up of a new and very big kitchen with a table. The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, as well as the following electrical appliances: an oven, 4 griddles, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle, two coffee machines and a mixer.

It has a double room with a free-standing bed, a cable TV, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers – a very big (25 squared metres), a living room with double windows, a big and comfortable double bed (160cmx210cm), a single foldable bed, two armchairs, a big table with 6 chairs and a big piece of furniture which can also serve as a wardrobe. You can also find a very modern Phillips Radio/CD/MP3 player in the room, with the option of using the DVD/Divx player, with a USB port which has two separate sockets.

The bathroom is spacious and has a bath with a shower in it. It also has a toilet, a bidet, a washbasin, a wall-standing radiator and a washing machine/tumble dryer. The whole apartment is furnished very nicely throughout and has designer touches to it too.
There are 5 beds: two double ones (one free-standing bed in a room with a diameter of 217cm, one 140x200 bed in the living room with a normal mattress in latex which also serves as a sofa bed and 1 single fold-up bed (bean bag) which is in the living room. There is also a bed for guests which you can find in the basement – it is made up of a mattress and wooden staves which can be laid out on the floor).
All the bedroom have roller blinds which can lowered at night. There is also a cable TVs in the living room as well as in the bedroom, where you can see several German channels as well as international ones.

The apartment also has a Wi-Fi network and you can go online on the laptop, by typing in the specific code. Also available to guests are two new bicycles which can be found in the basement.
