Overview:
The Evo-Hostel is located on a small peninsula near the Treptower Park and the Rummelsburger See Lake and has a peaceful location with good public transport connections.

All rooms and categories have a shared bathroom on each floor – there is the choice of single or double rooms for more privacy or a shared dorm for those wanting the typical ambience of a hostel. There is also a communal kitchen with a fridge on each floor.
In the morning a hearty breakfast (for an additional fee) will provide a good amount of energy to start the day. All the hostel staff are at hand to help with any questions or to provide recommendations for a good restaurant or the best shops or clubs and city night life.
The Treptower Park and great Rummelsburger See Lake are just a couple of minutes’ walk away – both are very popular with Berlin locals and an attraction all year round as a favourite spot for walking or cycling.

It is just a short stroll to the nearest city train link (S-Bahn) at Treptower Park, for lines S41, S42 and S8, and just a few stops to connect to different train and metro links (U-Bahn), the easiest and most sensible way to reach numerous places of interest including the historical Checkpoint Charlie, the well-known East Side Gallery, the famous Brandenburg Gate and the many different events hosted at the O2-World venue.
Visitors will also enjoy the lively night life in the Friedrichshain district with its bars and clubs, just a 20 minute distance from the hostel.

UBICACIÓN
Friedrichshain: The quarter Berlin Friedrichshain is located in the south of Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. Here you can find monuments of the GDR culture like the socialist boulevard Karl-Marx-Allee. Like the bordering areas of Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain offers a rich variety of urban culture. Especially the area around the street Simon-Dach-Strasse evolved into a lively neighbourhood for going out with countless bars, pubs and restaurants. No Berlin visitor should miss out on the East Side Gallery, with 1.3 km the longest remaining part of the Wall. Shortly after the Wall came down, artists have covered it with graffitis. At the eastern end of the East Side Gallery there is the reconstructed bridge Oberbaumbrücke which crosses the river Spree towards Kreuzberg and where you can enjoy a view from Berlin-Mitte to Treptow. The bridge features a neo-gothic style on two levels – on the upper level there is the subway, the lower level is used by the street traffic. The wide park Friedrichshain, after which the quarter is named, and its fairy-tale fountain offer relaxation to adults and children. The oldest part of the quarter is the peninsula Stralau – a developing area on former industy premises. Today it is a mixture of historical industrial ruins, apartment buildings and idyllic parks.
