CSD Berlin 2012 – knowledge creates acceptance

In June, Berlin shows itself at its most colourful and open-minded. Christopher Street Day has, for many years, been an important symbol for increased tolerance and acceptance of gay and lesbian lifestyles. The high point is the parade, held on June 23th, during which lavishly decorated floats – and lavishly decorated men and women – pass through the streets from Kurfürstendamm to the Brandenburg Gate.
