"The accommodation was very good for our needs (married couple, academic doing field research) for our three-week stay in Berlin. I was hesitant at first, just because of the requirement to pay cash to the person letting us in, but there were absolutely no problems with the payment or getting into the apartment.
I was told by several people in the neighborhood that the rent was quite high for our length of stay, so you might want to factor that into your decision. Still, for the quality of the amenities and location (half a block from the M2 metro stop, and 1.5 blocks from the U2 U-bahn line) it is still a great place to stay!"

"The only thing the place needs is a fan for those incredibly rare hot days in Berlin. Location is incredible. Prenzlauer Berg is so causal and pleasant and beautiful - it is a haven from the rest of Berlin. The apartment is quiet, clean, well appointed. It is a bit dark being just above ground level in an apartment complex, but still gets plenty of natural light and sun. Highest recommendation for a couple traveling to Berlin"

"Great appartment, great neighbourhood (Prenzlauer Berg: lots of restaurants, not a lot of bars though). The accomodation was clean (and hygienic, e.g.: double sheets around the pillows), big kitchen, big bathroom (great shower), it felt like someone's home. Great beds, lots of closet space, quiet, good stereo and TV, perfect place to stay for a couple of days. If you rent bikes (closeby), there's a private patio were you can leave them. If I were to have a condo in Berlin, something like this would be just fine!!"
